1:33 PZL P-37A Los is a card model of the Polish twin-engine bomber from the brand Gomix Fly Model. It is not a plastic kit — the parts are pre-printed and the model is built by cutting out and gluing card.

A card model is a modeling discipline of its own. The parts are printed in color on paper and the builder cuts them out, bends, stiffens and glues them into a three-dimensional shape. The 1:33 scale is the traditional choice for paper aircraft models — a twin-engine bomber comes out of it as a properly large model for a display case, with details that read well. The exact make-up of the set, that is the number of sheets, the format and any laser-cut stiffeners, is given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
The PZL.37 Los was a Polish twin-engine bomber of the second half of the 1930s — an all-metal low-wing monoplane with radial engines, aerodynamically clean for its day and with a good ratio of load to power. The form designated A differed from the later B in having a single fin; another typical recognition feature of the type was the twinned main landing gear wheels, intended to allow operation from grass fields. The details of the individual production batches and of the engines used differ in the specialist literature.
The basis of a good card model is a sharp knife, a metal ruler and patience at the edges. After cutting, it is advisable to tone the cut lines with a marker or a colored pencil in the color of the part so that the white paper does not show. Cylindrical sections of the fuselage and the engine nacelles are formed in advance by rolling them around a pencil or a round handle, and folds are scored from the back with the blunt side of the knife. Gluing is done with PVA glue for paper applied in small amounts so that the card does not warp; cyanoacrylate glue is suitable only for small stiffeners. The model is normally not sprayed with paint, because the print already carries the color — at the end, though, it pays to knock the sheen back slightly or, on the contrary, to seal it with a suitable varnish for paper, which unifies the surface and protects it against abrasion.
The model is supplied as a set of pre-printed parts to be cut out and glued. Glue, card for stiffening and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
