Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of wet, that is waterslide, decals in 1:48 scale from Star Decals. The set brings tactical emblems, numbers and vehicle names for the American M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage self-propelled howitzers of the Normandy landings and the fighting in France in 1944, among others for the 66th Armored Regiment and the 2nd and 5th Armored Divisions. It is not a kit but an accessory with markings for models of the M8 HMC.
The M8 HMC was an American light 75 mm self-propelled howitzer built on a light tank chassis and meant for direct fire support. The vehicles of the fighting of 1944 carried registration numbers, unit emblems and personal names, which this set of decals carries faithfully onto a model.
Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it has let go, slide it onto a smooth surface prepared with a gloss varnish. Adjust the position with a brush and blot the excess water off. On the broken-up areas a decal softener helps; finally fix everything by coating it with a matte varnish.
This is an accessory with markings. The model of the vehicle, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
