A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale with the markings of Finnish T-26 light tanks and flamethrower machines on their chassis. The fourth part of the series devoted to Finnish armored hardware of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-26 light tank was among the most widespread armored hardware of the 1930s. It came into being in the Soviet Union, was built in many versions and its chassis served for special machines as well. The oldest version listed under the designation m/31 had two separate turrets side by side; the younger version already had only one turret with a gun. The Finnish army used these tanks during the Second World War as captured vehicles and listed them in a system of designation of its own, which joins the abbreviation m with the year of the pattern.
This set of markings is the fourth part of the series on Finnish armored hardware and keeps to the T-26 family including the flamethrower versions. The designs are printed for models in 1:72 scale.
The decals are transferred in the wet way. Trim the design off as tight as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it begins to slide freely over the backing paper. Varnish the place under the decal to a gloss beforehand, otherwise a white veil will appear around the design. On a busy surface a softener helps; once dry, the whole model is gone over with a matte varnish.
The sheet will be appreciated by modelers who build Finnish hardware or are looking for a less usual variant of markings for an ordinary T-26 kit. The sheet of decals is supplied on its own; the model, the paints and the glue do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
