A resin 3D printed model of the ground cart used to carry and store the rotor blades of the Mi-24, Mi-8 and Mi-17 series helicopters, in 1:72 scale. It is not a helicopter model but a diorama accessory of the airfield support. The cart will bring a scene with a helicopter under maintenance to life and add to its believability.
The production Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters and the Mi-24 gunship are among the most widespread machines of their kind. During maintenance their massive rotor blades are taken off and carried on special ground carts. It is just such a piece of support equipment that this accessory captures, rounding out a realistic airfield or field standing.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports. Use a super glue (cyanoacrylate) for gluing. Lay down a filler primer before spraying; the surface then takes paint more easily. The rotor blades themselves are not part of the set.
The accessory comes unassembled and unpainted. The helicopter model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
