1:32 Paint mask Spitfire Mk. I (Early) is a masking set for painting a large model of the early version of the legendary British fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An SX-Art masking set in 1:32 scale, made for painting a model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I in its early rendition. It is not a kit or decals: it is an aid with which the paint goes where it belongs and nowhere else.
The first production Spitfires differed from the later machines more than it seems at first glance. They were built with a flat canopy, without armor and with a two-blade wooden fixed-pitch propeller, which only service replaced with metal blades of variable pitch. Gradually exhausts of a different shape, a bulged canopy and other small changes were added. It is exactly these differences that decide whether you build the model as a machine of peacetime production or as an aircraft in combat form from 1940.
For modelers who build the large Spitfire and want crisp transitions without the tedious cutting of tape. In a large scale every inaccuracy shows twice over and masking by hand takes more time than the build itself.
