About product

1:32 F-14A Early nose tip and angle of attack probe

A detail set by MASTER for models of the Grumman F-14A Tomcat in the early version, 1:32 scale. It contains a turned metal nose tip and an angle of attack probe. The metal parts replace the plastic ones in the exposed places on the nose, where plastic is easily damaged and holds its shape less well.

The real subject

The Grumman F-14A Tomcat was an American carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing, famous above all for its service with the US Navy. The nose tip and the angle of attack probe on the forward fuselage belong among the characteristic details of the nose.

Use and fitting

  • Remove the plastic tip and probe and clean up the mating surfaces.
  • Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Make sure the version matches the early one.
  • Fit the fine parts as late as possible so that they do not bend.

Who the set is for

For modelers in the large 1:32 scale who want fine and sturdy metal detail on the nose of their Tomcat.

This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
