A quality set of waterslide (wet) decals from Decalcas, intended for a model of the McLaren M23 Formula car from the 1976 world championship season in 1:20 scale. It is not a kit and not vehicle parts, but a livery set to complete a base model. The target kit is the Tamiya one.
The decals reproduce the period racing livery of the car, including sponsor and brand logos and starting numbers. They make it possible to build the variants as the car started at the individual grands prix of 1976. Decalcas printing is usually sharp, with saturated colors and a thin carrier film.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish, which prevents silvering under the film. Use setting and softening solutions for perfect adhesion to the shapes of the bodywork. Once dry, overcoat with clear varnish to unify the surface and protect it.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit itself and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
