This injection-molded plastic kit from the Polish maker IBG Models presents the 10cm leFH 14/19(t) field howitzer in 1:35 scale. The set holds plastic parts for the carriage and its trail rails, complemented by a metal barrel, and faithfully captures the breech, the shield and the spreading carriage. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The howitzer grows out of a Skoda design of 100 mm caliber from the time of the First World War, modernized in interwar Czechoslovakia as the model 14/19. The weapon was exported to a number of countries, and in the Second World War the German army used it too under the designation leFH 14/19(t), where the suffix (t) refers to the Czech, in German tschechisch, origin.
Glue the fine carriage parts with thin cement for plastic, and clean the metal barrel and fit it at the end. After applying the base coat, choose a shade according to the operator and period you have picked, bring out the barrel with a metal tone and unify the whole with a wash and dry-brushed paint.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
