A set of painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a kit of the light truck of the 15 CWT class with the towed Breda 20/65 gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a model, but an accessory for clean painting. The masks are of thin self-adhesive film and follow the shape of the parts, so there is no need to cut anything out or tape anything up.
The designation 15 CWT corresponds to a light cargo vehicle of fifteen hundredweight capacity, common with British and allied units during the Second World War. The Breda 20/65 is an Italian 20 mm automatic gun, used against aircraft as well as ground targets. The combination consists of a tractor with a glazed cab and the gun on a wheeled carriage.
The masks cover the cab glazing and the tires, that is the areas that are the hardest to mask by hand. The result is a crisp boundary between the glass and the frame and between the rubber and the disc of the wheel.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
