The 155mm Howitzer Ammo Set 1:35 is a set of turned metal rounds for modern 155 mm howitzers that replaces plastic ammunition with a faithful replica.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of a gun but a detailed ammunition set in 1:35 scale. It contains turned metal (brass) rounds for modern howitzers of the standard 155 mm caliber. The metal construction gives the projectiles the exact cylindrical shape and the metallic sheen that is hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic.
155 mm is today the most widespread artillery caliber of the NATO armed forces. It is used by towed howitzers as well as self-propelled systems, and the ammunition consists of the projectile itself and a propelling charge. A faithful replica of the rounds will bring an artillery position, an ammunition store or the interior of a vehicle to life.
Degrease the metal parts, level any burrs and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer to the smooth metal first so that the paint and any washes hold well. For a realistic look, combine glossy brass cartridge cases with a more matte shade on the projectiles.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a model of the gun are not included in the package.
