It is not a kit or a resin accessory: it is a set of markings that gives a model tactical numbers, emblems and inscriptions. The item is designated as part one; check the contents of the particular sheet against the illustration on the packaging.
Markings are what turns some tank into a particular machine. Polish units fighting on the eastern front used vehicles of Soviet manufacture, so the same models can be built in several very different guises purely according to which decals go on them. The set therefore makes sense even for a modeler who has an ordinary kit under construction and wants to avoid the scheme from the box that every second shelf carries.
The base must be smooth and glossy, otherwise a white veil (so-called silvering) stays under the decal, so spray the area with gloss varnish before applying them. Cut the design out as close as possible, dip it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to slide freely on the backing. Moisten the spot on the model, slide the decal off the paper, fine-tune the position with a brush and draw the excess water off with a paper tissue. On a riveted, intricate surface use a decal softener, so that the design sucks down onto the relief. Once dry, spray the whole model with a matte or semi-matte varnish, so that the edges disappear.
It is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the package.
