Dragon 1:35 1st Luftwaffe Field Division is a set of unassembled plastic figures for collectors and diorama builders.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of four unassembled plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Dragon. It captures soldiers of a Luftwaffe field division in winter dress — quilted parkas and trousers. The sprues contain parts for the bodies, the equipment and the weapons for assembling four figures.
The Luftwaffe field divisions (Luftwaffen-Felddivisionen) were ground units made up of Luftwaffe personnel and deployed on the Eastern Front. The set refers to the fighting in the Novgorod area south of Leningrad in the winter of 1943 to 1944, when these units faced a Soviet offensive. The scene is treated factually, as a historical reconstruction.
Assemble the figures according to the instructions and use thin modeling cement on the plastic. Clean up the seams after assembly and fill the surface. Paint with acrylic or enamel paints; shading and highlights are recommended to give the faces and the folds of the uniforms depth, and washes bring the recesses to life. Glue any photo-etched parts with super glue.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
