A set of rounds of 8.8 cm caliber for the KwK 36 gun in 1:35 scale, an accessory for models and a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun was the main weapon of the German Tiger Ausf. E heavy tank of the Second World War; the barrel was 56 calibers long. Its round is a fixed one, that is, the projectile is firmly joined to the case, and it is strikingly long. That is exactly why it works well on a model: a few pieces laid loose by a vehicle or in an open stowage space are enough for a scene to look lived in.
This is a separate ammunition set in 1:35 scale, that is, an accessory and not a kit of a vehicle. How many pieces the package contains and whether the rounds are accompanied by separate cases or crates is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest off, so that the cylinder of the case stays straight. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Cement for polystyrene need not hold on them; cyanoacrylate is more reliable. The cases are painted in a brass shade and the projectile dark, with a colored band usually at the tip; check the exact markings in the literature on the real subject. A faint dark enamel line in the groove below the edge of the case will give the part depth.
An ammunition set is supplied. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
