Double-sided painting masks for the A6M2 Zero in 1:35 scale from Art Scale, intended for the Border Model kit. The masks protect both sides of the glazing and help with painting - this is not a model but a masking set.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set, not an airplane model. A set of precisely cut masks for the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero fighter in the unusual 1:35 scale, in which Border Model released the Zero. The special feature is the double-sided masks: besides the outer canopy frames you also apply an inner layer that protects the glass from inside. The glazing then stays clean on both sides and neither paint nor overspray gets underneath. The set is made by Art Scale (ASK) in their system of easily fitting masks.
The Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero was a light and exceptionally agile Japanese carrier fighter of the early Pacific war, famous for its long range. The framed, heavily glazed canopy is one of its most distinctive features, so clean and crisply bounded glazing is essential to a faithful model.
For modelers building the Border Model A6M2 Zero in 1:35 who want faultlessly bounded, clean glazing without laborious cutting of tape.
These are masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
