The decal set 1:35 PzKpfw IV of the Bulgarian army from Star Decals brings markings for the PzKpfw IV tanks that Bulgaria operated during the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal set in 1:35 scale belongs to the Star Decals line devoted to German-built machines in the hands of the Axis states and the East European armies. This part concentrates on the PzKpfw IV tank in Bulgarian service. For a modeler it is a way to build, from an ordinary kit of the Panzer IV, a machine that does not stand on the display table beside ten identical ones.
The PzKpfw IV was the most numerous German medium tank of the Second World War and in the later versions it carried a long-barreled 75 mm gun and side armor skirts. Germany also delivered these machines to its allies and satellite armies, Bulgaria among them, which took them into its armored arm. Bulgarian tanks differed from the German ones at first glance precisely in their markings, that is the national insignia, the tactical numbers and the unit signs, while the shape and the camouflage stayed close to the original.
The German Panzer IV has plenty of rivets, hatches and edges on the turret and the hull, so think out in advance where each design will go, so that it does not run across a sharp divide. Lay the markings onto a smooth gloss base and let them dry well, and only then flatten the model down. If you are building a machine with side skirts, reckon with parts of the hull staying covered and place the markings on areas that will be visible. The recommended way of working with the decals is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The package holds decals. The model, the paints and the varnishes are not included, unless stated otherwise.
