An interior diorama lives off small things. A vehicle or a figure makes the view, but it is only the furnishing of the room that tells the viewer where the view is set and what went on there before. A bathroom is rewarding in this, because its furnishings are recognizable at once even after decades, and in a wrecked house they work especially strongly as a reminder of ordinary life. The accessory can be used in ruins, in abandoned buildings and in whole interior cutaways.
Sanitary ware is white, and that is exactly why it is hard to paint. Pure white looks like plastic in scale; it is better to start from an off-white shade with a touch of gray or cream. First apply a primer, then the base, and only then set about the dirt. A thin brown-gray wash will run into the seams and around the drains and give volume at once. Suggest worn enamel with dots of a dark color applied with the tip of a brush, not with large areas. Use a gloss varnish only on the inside of the vessels and leave the rest semi-matte. Deal with the dust and plaster after a hit with a pigment only at the end.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package.
