Ceremonial machines differ from field ones in that their finish is applied carefully, with sharp transitions and without signs of wear. The two sheets in this package carry pieces matching the appearance in which the vehicle rolled out for the 2015 parade, and the arrangement of the areas differs from the expo variants.
The design joins the armored hull of a main battle tank with a turret fitted with a pair of rapid-fire cannons and launch containers for guided missiles. The machine is to cover tanks against foot groups with antitank weapons, so its weapons aim higher and more widely than those of a classic tank. Before a parade such vehicles are given above-standard preparation of the finish, because the spectators see them from close up and in sharp light.
The base has to be smooth, otherwise every unevenness will stand out. Spray a thin layer of primer, sand it with a very fine sponge and only then lay the pieces. Choose the weathering sparingly; on a ceremonial machine it is enough to suggest dust on the running gear and to leave the surfaces of the hull clean. The sharp edges of the pattern stand out best under a semi-matte varnish.
The package contains only masks, not a model or paints.
