A detail add-on set from the AFV Club brand in 1:35 scale with faithful cartridge cases for the German MG 151 cannon. It is not a model, but turned brass parts with which you complete an ammunition scene, ammunition crates or the fighting compartment on a model fitted with this weapon. Brass gives the cases a natural metallic sheen with no need for painting.
The MG 151 was a German automatic cannon of the Second World War, used above all as an aircraft weapon and, in derived mountings, on ground and anti-aircraft hardware as well. Its ammunition is made up of a projectile and a cartridge case; a faithful rendering of fired as well as full cases markedly raises the realism where the rounds are visible on a model.
Separate the cartridge cases carefully and clean them up. Brass has a metallic look of its own, so it is enough to degrease it and, if wanted, tone it gently. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set them out in crates, on the mounting or loose around the weapon for a livelier and more convincing scene.
This is an add-on set of cartridge cases, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
