A figure of a British soldier of the First World War period in 1:35 scale. A trench scene is peculiar in that it does not work without a figure: muddy terrain, crates and pieces of wood look on their own like a heap of soil, and only a soldier gives them sense and size. The number 3 tells this item apart within the line.
It is a standalone figure for a diorama or for hardware in the same scale. The 1:35 scale is rewarding for figures: it carries fine painting of a face and shading of fabric, and yet it does not call for as sure a hand as smaller scales. Terrain accessories, bases and display cases for this scale are also easy to find, so a scene can be built up gradually.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. The uniforms of the period are woolen and matte, so they come out better through work with light and shadow than through pure color; a final soiling of the lower areas will only do the scene good. The assembly procedure is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
