Responsibility details are not available.
Waterslide decals from the British manufacturer Xtradecal for models of the Eurofighter Typhoon in the FGR.4 version in 1:32 scale. The sheet is meant for finishing off a completed model; it is not a kit. In the large scale the markings come out markedly bigger than on ordinary sheets, which puts higher demands on the preparation of the surface.
The Typhoon FGR.4 is the British multirole version of the European combat aircraft with a delta wing and a forward canard. It combines the ability to fight in the air with precise attacks on ground targets and serves as the backbone of the British fighter force. The aircraft is powered by a pair of EJ200 engines with afterburning, thanks to which it achieves a high rate of climb and is able to fly at supersonic speed without using the afterburner. The basic service finish is made up of several shades of gray, but individual machines also carry striking commemorative schemes.
Different rules apply to large-area decals than to small markings. A large piece of film will not take a dry surface, so dampen both the area and the decal lightly before sliding it off, so that it can still be moved. Work with a soft brush and a damp cotton swab rather than with your fingers, and press the air out from the center outward. The order of work follows a simple rule: first the paint, then the gloss varnish, then the decals, varnish again and only at the very end the weathering and the matting.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
