This resin set brings replacement wheels for the Soviet eight-wheeled BTR-70 armored personnel carrier from the Zvezda kit in 1:35 scale. The castings faithfully capture the characteristic weighted tire effect, that is the slight sag and widening of the contact patch where the tire meets the surface, as is typical of a heavy vehicle standing on its wheels.
The fine castings in quality resin offer a sharper tread pattern and more pronounced detail of the tread and the sidewall than the plastic parts from the box. The set rounds out the build nicely and gives the model a realistic look, settled on the ground. Before gluing, it is best to wash the parts and rid them of any mold release agent.
