The diorama accessory 1:35 Cable Reel Set (1pcs. large) from RT-Diorama brings one large cable reel into a view in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model of a vehicle. The name gives one piece in the large version, so this accessory does not work as filler but as an object in its own right around which a composition can be built. RT-Diorama specializes in diorama accessories of this kind.
Large cable reels carry power and communication lines and are part of the equipment of power companies, railroads, ports and major building sites. The construction is always the same - two circular ends joined by a core onto which the cable is wound - but as the diameter grows the way it is handled changes. While a smaller reel can be moved by two men, a large one is worked with using a crane, a truck or a special trailer. In a view that is valuable information: the size of the reel by itself hints at what kind of workplace this is.
A single large object can stand being the focus of a view. It is worth placing it so that its circular end makes a counterweight to the vertical lines of the scene, for example against a mast, a wall or the side of a vehicle. It also looks natural laid flat as improvised seating for figures. The dimensions, the weight and the material are stated on the box of the set.
