1:35 Caravan is a kit of a towed caravan that will give a diorama a civilian dimension.
Responsibility details are not available.
A caravan is not combat equipment, and that is exactly why it catches the eye so much in a display case. Stood beside a military vehicle it creates a story at once: an evacuation, makeshift lodging, an office in the field or a calm scene from civilian life. Plusmodel offers it in 1:35 scale, that is in the size that matches most ground models.
It is a towed dwelling on a single axle with a fixed body, windows and a door. Such trailers appeared by roads and on the edges of towns and served for all sorts of things, from a night's rest to a command post. The name does not specify the exact real subject, so the builder can interpret the view in his own way. It is precisely this freedom of interpretation that is interesting on such an item.
Put the body together so that the walls are perpendicular, and make the joints rather in parts with ongoing checks of the right angle. Fit the windows only after painting. In color a light cream or pastel shade suggests itself, of the kind that commonly appeared on civilian vehicles, and a line along the side will add to the period look. Low down near the ground suggest mud and dust. Unify the roof with a smooth surface, because it tends to be the most in view in a display case and every unevenness on it stands out.
The caravan is unassembled and without paint. Obtain coatings, glue and accessories separately, unless stated otherwise.
