A photo-etched set from Eduard for sharpening a plastic model of the British Challenger 1 main battle tank in the Mk.3 version in 1:35 scale. The Challenger 1 was a British MBT of the 1980s with powerful Chobham armor protection. The set is not a kit of the tank but an accessory for an existing model.
The photo-etched brass parts sharpen the exterior of the vehicle, above all the fenders and their edges, grilles, light guards, handles and tool loops and other fine items of the superstructure and hull that plastic simplifies.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and bend them in a bender. Bond with super glue. After spraying the base color, bring out the detail with a wash and pigments; on Cold War British vehicles it is rewarding to accent the surface texture and the traces of use.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
