A set of photo-etched brass track covers for the Chinese ZTZ-99A main battle tank in 1:35 scale. It is a detail accessory from Voyager Model that replaces the simplified plastic covers above the tracks with thin-walled photo-etched parts. It is not a kit of the tank.
The ZTZ-99A is a modern Chinese main battle tank of the ground forces of the People's Liberation Army, a developed version of the ZTZ-99 type. It is marked by modern armor, a powerful gun and advanced electronics. The covers above the tracks protect the running gear and cut down the dust thrown up while driving.
Carefully separate the photo-etched covers from the fret, bend the thin sheet slightly for a realistic look and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut away the plastic originals on the model beforehand. Lay down a primer before painting and weather the surfaces with dust and mud effects. According to the manufacturer, the accessory is cut for the Panda Hobby PH35018 kit.
The set does not hold the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant for finishing and bringing out the detail of a kit you have already built.
