Responsibility details are not available.
A set of workable plastic track links of the Type 83 pattern in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. It is not a vehicle model but replacement tracks assembled from individual links that stay movable once put together. The finished track follows the road wheels better and gains a realistic sag.
Type 83 tracks belong to the Chinese Type 83 152 mm self-propelled gun (howitzer). Workable links replace the track from the original kit and raise the fidelity of the running gear. The box usually contains the individual links, connecting pins and an assembly jig.
Clean the flash off the links, assemble them on the jig and glue sparingly so that the track stays movable. Paint them separately from the hull; a dark wash will bring the texture out and a metal drybrush will pick out the worn edges. Dust and mud pigments on the tread give the track life.
