Containers (Vietnam) 1:35 is a resin, 3D-printed diorama accessory from the Czech maker Firma49: storage containers and crates for finishing off scenes from Southeast Asia, not a model of equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set in 1:35 scale captures the storage containers and crates typical of field camps and bases of the Vietnam War period. It is a diorama accessory, not a vehicle model: it serves to fill and enliven a scene and to suggest supply and an improvised store. Resin printing gives the parts sharp edges and a faithful texture.
Containers and crates are a rewarding element that gives a military scene action and scale. Stacked at the perimeter, under a shelter or loaded on a vehicle, they create the impression of a living camp. They combine well with figures and equipment in 1:35 scale.
The parts are held on thin print supports. Before separating them it is worth dipping the set in hot water for a moment: the resin softens slightly, the supports are easier to cut away and the material does not chip. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Once the base color is on, the containers come into their own with a strong wash into the recesses and light chipping of the edges with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied as a resin casting, unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
