A fallen head of cattle, 1:35 Cow Carcass by the German brand RT-Diorama, will complete a rural or a wartime tableau. Intended for seating into terrain.
Responsibility details are not available.
This element of the setting by the German brand RT-Diorama represents a dead head of beef cattle and is intended to be set into a scene being built in 1:35 scale. The brand has long devoted itself to accessories for tableaux, from urban features to rural fittings, and this piece fits into its line aimed at landscape touched by fighting.
It works best in the setting of Normandy hedgerows, Italian farmsteads or eastern European villages, that is, wherever the fighting took place directly among farm buildings. Experienced builders set a detail like this off the main axis of view, so that the scene does not come across as forced. It goes well with a broken fence, an overturned cart or the hulk of an agricultural machine.
The proven procedure runs from a dark base through layering brown and beige tones to accentuating the edges. Heavily thinned shades applied in layers look more believable than a single covering coat. The transition between the body and the terrain will be united by modeling putty, scatter material and dry pigments at the end. If the scene shows rainy weather, a lightly glossy effect in places is suitable; otherwise leave everything completely matte.
Neither a coat of paint nor material for terrain is included; you add them according to your own scene.
