1:35 Dustbin is a trash can in 1:35 scale — a stand-alone object of a scene for a diorama. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a scenic prop.
Responsibility details are not available.
A trash can belongs to the basic equipment of a town or village scene. In a yard, in an arcade, by the wall of a house or in a lane it fills two roles at once: it fills an empty spot and at the same time gives a scene scale and the everydayness without which a diorama looks like an exhibition base. It is a stand-alone scenic accessory, not a model of a vehicle.
The same subject in three scales
The accessory is also made in 1:48 and 1:72 scale. The scale is the distinguishing detail — choose it according to the vehicles and figures in your scene.
You will set a trash can into town corners, by residential houses, in yards and in the back areas of workshops. It also works as a practical cover for an unsuccessful spot on the base or as a support for a figure. It combines well with other pieces of street furniture from the same diorama line, for example benches, lamps and boxes.
Separate the part with a scalpel or a fine saw, level the mating surface by sanding and degrease the surface, so that the primer holds. Choose the glue according to the material — cyanoacrylate for small resin parts, thin cement for plastic on plastic. With a sheet-metal trash can, rely on a primer, a base shade and then layering of rust by the salt or the hairspray method; a dark wash into the ribs and a dry brush on the edges will do most of the work. Weather the lower part and the area around the bottom with pigments in the same tone as the terrain, so that the trash can does not look like a foreign object stuck onto the base.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
