Compared with the plain trash can in the same line, this variant has lettering on the body, and that is exactly the detail that makes it worth choosing: text on sheet metal draws the eye, anchors a scene in a place and offers a rewarding opportunity for color contrast.

The accessory is also made in 1:48 and 1:72 scale, so the scale is the distinguishing detail. The manufacturer also makes a variant without lettering — choose according to how prominent an element you want in a scene.
A trash can suits town corners, residential houses, the yards of workshops and back areas. In a scene it fills a corner well, serves as a support for a figure or hides an unsuccessful spot on the base. Combine it with other street furniture from the same diorama line.
Separate the part with a scalpel or a fine saw, level the mating surface and degrease the surface before priming. Choose the glue according to the material — cyanoacrylate for small resin parts, thin cement for plastic on plastic. Let the lettering come out: spray the base shade of the body, bring the text out with an accurate stroke of a fine brush and carefully tidy any overruns with the base color. Only then add rust, a dark wash into the ribs and a dry brush on the edges. Finally tie the bottom of the accessory in with the terrain using pigments.
