Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Einheitsdiesel signals vehicle in the Kfz.61 version (Fernsprechbetriebskraftwagen, the heavy telephone exchange van), in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. The model captures the characteristic vehicle with its enclosed box body; the box contains detailed plastic parts, clear parts, decals and illustrated instructions.
The Einheitsdiesel, meaning standard diesel, was a standardized German truck built at the end of the 1930s by several factories. It was notable for its six-wheel drive and independent suspension, which gave it outstanding cross-country ability. The chassis carried many bodies; the Kfz.61 version served as a mobile telephone exchange for the signals units of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe.
First assemble the broken-up running gear and the chassis with its independent suspension, and only then the body. Use thin cement for plastic and glue the small details and the clear parts carefully. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush; dark gray and dark yellow are both typical. Bring out the recesses and the panels with a wash and weather the underside and the wheels with dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
