This resin set holds replacement wheels in the commercial, civilian form for the Ford 3000 truck. It is a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels of your model with more accurate castings, with a finer road tread pattern on the tire, not a kit of the whole vehicle.
The Ford 3000 was a three-ton truck used during the Second World War, and it grew out of a civilian design. The commercial pattern of tires with their finer road tread matched ordinary running on made-up roads. An accurately cast tread and the detail of the rim give a model an authentic look.
Wash the parts free of release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Undercoat the tires in dark gray, match the rim to the color of the vehicle and weather the surface lightly with dust.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
