A resin set of replacement wheels and tires in 1:35 scale for the French Panhard VBL light armored car. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory replacing the wheels from the plastic kit. The tires are cast with a realistic sag where they meet the road, so that once fitted the vehicle looks credibly loaded under its own weight. This is variant 1. The wheels are intended for the Tiger Model kit.
The Panhard VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger) is a French light armored 4x4 reconnaissance and liaison car introduced in the 1990s. It serves in the French army and in a number of other countries for reconnaissance, patrol work and anti-tank defense. Faithful wheels with tread will underline the character of this compact vehicle.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tires matte dark gray, bring out the tread with a dry brush and finish dust and mud with pigments to suit the service setting.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
