A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It contains fine brass German car license plates, that is, the number plates military vehicles carried. The photo-etched plates have faithful relief and replace flat plastic or decal plates. Neither the model nor a base kit is included in the package.
German military vehicles of the Second World War carried registration plates with military markings and the symbols of the individual branches. Number plates are a small but telling detail that lends a model and a diorama authenticity and lets a vehicle be assigned to a particular branch.
Separate the fine plates with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) onto the cleaned-up brackets of the vehicle. The relief of the photo-etch comes out once painted, when the surface is covered with paint and the lettering is picked out by drybrushing or with a wash.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
