This is neither a figure nor a kit but a resin accessory from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. The set contains German military tall boots, the so-called jackboots, in 1:35 scale. You will use the set-aside footwear as a small still life in a diorama or for completing and converting figures.
Tall leather boots belonged to the typical equipment of a German soldier of the Second World War. A pair of boots by a bunk, on the bed of a vehicle or beside a seated figure gives a scene life and tells a story. The parts are 3D printed in resin with faithful detail of the leather and the sole.
The parts can be sanded and drilled as usual and are glued with super glue. Before working them, a brief dip in hot water helps: the resin softens slightly and hardens again once cooled. We recommend a primer as a base; you will bring leather to life with a dark wash, a fine dry brush and a suggestion of sheen on the toes.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
