Hobby Boss 1:35 German Panzer Tank Crew (Normandy 1944) is a plastic figure set of a German tank crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The package contains parts for assembling five figures of German tank crewmen in a configuration matching the fighting in Normandy in 1944. The figures are assembled and painted; this is an accessory for tank models, not a model of a vehicle itself.
In the summer of 1944 German tank units clashed with Allied forces in Normandy after the landings. The crews wore the characteristic black or field uniforms of the armored troops with the corresponding insignia. The figures are posed to suit placing in and around a tank.
Cement the parts with thin cement for plastic and clean up the parting lines carefully. Lay down a primer as a base. Paint the uniforms and equipment in the shades of the period armored troops and pick out the detail with glazes and dry brushing. Always test-fit the figures dry into a particular hatch or onto the hull.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a tank model are not included in the package.
