The closing years of the war meant demanding conditions for German soldiers, especially on the Eastern Front. The winter clothing, parkas and caps match the gear of the day. The figures are posed for a combat scene and carry period infantry weapons.
Glue the parts with a thin plastic cement and sand the joints. Bring the winter clothing to life with muted gray and beige tones and suggest snow and mud with pigments and a wash. Paint the faces in flesh tones with fine shading.
