Ghost Division Tank Crew is a set of plastic figures of a crew of the German 7th Panzer Division in 1:35 scale from Dragon.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of four injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Dragon. It depicts a crew of the so-called Ghost Division, that is the German 7th Panzer Division, during the campaign in France in 1940 (the Blitzkrieg).
The 7th Panzer Division earned the Ghost Division nickname through the speed of its advance, when the command often did not know exactly where it was. Three of the figures are tank crewmen, the fourth an infantryman. The set can be arranged into two scenes: a lightly wounded crewman led to safety by a comrade, and a crewman talking with a soldier. The figures wear early war equipment including the panzer berets of 1940. The treatment is matter-of-fact and historically grounded.
Separate the parts from the sprues, clean up the seams and glue them with a plastic cement. Build the skin up in layers and lighten the black panzer uniform with gray so that the detail does not disappear. Use a wash in the folds and a dry brush on the edges. Finish with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
