A figure of a German tanker from the line named Hast Du Feuer, Kamerad in 1:35 scale, item number 2.
Responsibility details are not available.
The crew of a Tiger heavy tank spent far more time out of combat than in it: waiting, on maintenance and in short quiet moments by the machine. It is exactly this side that the line named Hast Du Feuer, Kamerad captures, that is the German question asking for a light for a cigarette. The figure therefore does not come across as a heroic tableau but as an ordinary man beside an enormous machine, which in a display case is often more striking than a combat scene.
It is a single figure in 1:35 scale marked with the sequence number 2. The individual figures of the line can be placed into a common group by a tank, so the scene does not look monotonous; the number in the designation distinguishes the items within the line. The breakdown of the parts is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the surplus material and the traces of production off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder carefully. Choose the glue according to the material; for parts other than polystyrene cyanoacrylate is in order. Wash and degrease the figure before painting. German tank crews wore a dark uniform on which detail quickly disappears, so build the shadows on the contrast of the seams and the folds rather than on darkening the area further. The hands and the face, by contrast, will take somewhat stronger definition.
The figure suits a scene with a German tank in 1:35 scale and serves equally well on its own as a small tableau on a base. Paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
