This item is not a set of whole figures but an accessory: ten separate heads cast in resin in 1:35 scale, sculpted in M17 and XM28 protective masks. The manufacturer is Bravo 6. The heads are used to swap for the parts supplied with figures from other sets, so a scene with a markedly different feel can be created out of one kit. A protective mask changes the silhouette of the head as well as the overall feel of a figure, which is why swapping is a popular way to bring production figures to life or to build a scene with a different subject. Ten pieces in one package mean that it will do for a whole group of figures and that a reserve will be left in case of damage during clean-up. The M17 mask has characteristic side filters, whereas with the XM28 type the overall shape is more delicate - the two variants can be combined in a single scene.
Wash the heads in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw at the neck and sand the surface; protect your airways while sanding resin. Then adjust the neck according to the opening in the torso of the figure, so that the head sits at the right angle - that is the main factor that will influence the resulting pose. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After applying a primer, paint the rubber mask in a matte dark shade with a light picking out of the edges, work the lenses up with a gloss varnish and set the straps apart with a different tone. A fine wash will pick the divisions of the mask out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
