A resin set of jet engine exhaust nozzles for a plastic kit of the Northrop F-5A/F-5B light fighter in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the nozzles from the original kit. The set is intended for F-5A/F-5B kits in this scale. The cast parts faithfully capture the internal and external geometry of the nozzles of this twin-engine machine, which injection-molded plastic usually cannot render in such detail.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the nozzles in metallic shades, tone the heat-stressed surfaces toward blue and brown and bring out the details with a light wash.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
