The plastic kit captures the Israeli M113A1 armored personnel carrier (known in Israeli service as the Nag'mash) in the specific configuration of 1973. The model faithfully reproduces the typical Israeli modifications: the extended exhaust, stowage baskets and racks, jerrycans and other fittings characteristic of Israel Defense Forces vehicles. It is a detailed kit for more advanced modelers.
The M113 is one of the most widely used tracked personnel carriers in the world and Israel fielded it in large numbers. The 1973 configuration corresponds to service during the Yom Kippur War, when the vehicles received a range of field and factory modifications for carrying infantry and for support. The aluminum hull kept the weight low and the mobility good.
Given the number of small fittings, work carefully and finish the interior and the running gear before you close the hull. Glue with liquid modeling cement for plastic and attach the fine parts with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. A primer coat and an airbrush are recommended; the Israeli sand shade comes to life with edge highlighting, washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
