This is not a kit but scenic resin (3D-printed) material: two hundred Italian clay roof tiles (the type 2 variant) in 1:35 scale. The characteristic rounded profile of the coppo tile is typical of Mediterranean architecture and suits Italian and southern European scenes.
The tiles are laid in rows alternately face up and face down, which creates the corrugated structure of a Mediterranean roof. They can be laid as a continuous surface or with broken, damaged patches for the effect of a war-damaged building.
Wash the mold release off the tiles and cut them from any casting frames. They are glued with super glue or PVA glue onto the base from the bottom up with the rows overlapping. The terracotta shade comes out well once a primer has been applied, and graying and misting with pigments gives an old roof realism.
The material is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the building underneath are not included in the package.
