A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:35 scale for a model of the Junkers Ju 87 G-1/2, the anti-tank form of the aircraft known as the Stuka.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Junkers Ju 87 is a German single-engine dive bomber of the Second World War, for which the name Stuka took hold. The G form came about by reworking machines of the D series into an anti-tank aircraft: under the wing it carries a pair of pods with 37 mm cannons, with which armored vehicles were attacked from above and from the side. The G-1 and G-2 versions differ from each other in the airframes they are based on and in the wingspan.
According to the name it is a fret of photo-etched metal parts, that is, an accessory for a build and not a model on its own. Photo-etched metal replaces plastic parts where thin sheet ought to be: on instrument panels, seat belts, grilles and covers. In 1:35 scale the result looks finer than an injection-molded part and stands being looked at close up.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard support, not by twisting, or they will bend. Make the folds along the scored line in a bending tool or between two metal rules. They are glued with super glue applied in a tiny amount on the tip of a toothpick. Degrease the surface before painting and use a primer for metal, or the paint will hold badly on smooth sheet.
The kit of the model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
