The KAMAZ K-4386 Typhoon VDV 3D interior 1:35 from Quinta Studio is a color relief inside of the crew compartment printed on decal paper. It is carried over with water, exactly like an ordinary decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Quinta Studio accessory in 1:35 scale replaces the laborious superdetailing of the crew compartment of an armored vehicle. The equipment is printed by 3D printing on decal paper and colored already in production, so once applied a raised, broken-up interior with visible depth comes about. It is not a kit nor a resin set, but a decal – work with it is quiet, dust-free and needs no glue.
The K-4386 Typhoon VDV is a Russian wheeled armored vehicle in a 4x4 arrangement, developed for airborne units. The crew compartment is comparatively tall and broken up, with massive instrument panels and protective features, so past open hatches or doors an unusual amount of it is visible on a model.
3D decals need more time in water than thin classic sheets – the paper releases more slowly beneath a thicker layer. Leave the piece lying in clean lukewarm water until it begins to slide of its own accord, but do not pull at it; if the adhesive dissolves too far, it will lose its grip. Carry the piece onto the model together with the backing of paper and only then slide it into place. Spare yourself a softener — it would damage the printed resin. Positioning is possible only for a moment, so think beforehand about which corner you will seat the piece by, and have a damp brush at hand, with which it is moved more gently than with tweezers.
It is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
