An injection-molded plastic kit of the German off-road staff and personnel car Horch 901 typ 40 in the Kfz. 12 form, in the early production version. The model is in 1:35 scale from Italeri and the box includes rubber tires and decals for several marking options.
The Horch 901 belonged to the family of standardized medium off-road cars that the German army introduced in the second half of the 1930s to raise the mobility of its troops. The all-wheel-drive vehicle built within the Auto Union group served to carry troops, as a tractor and as a reconnaissance vehicle, and was valued for its simple but tough design.
On a military vehicle, finish the chassis, the suspension and the interior before the body is closed up. Spray the base coat with an airbrush over a primer and fine-tune the weathering and the dusting with washes and pigments. Cover the surfaces with a gloss coat before the decals and flatten them afterwards.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
