Eduard 1:35 King Tiger Henschel (Big Ed) is a comprehensive accessory set of photo-etch and painting masks for raising the detail of a kit of the German heavy tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a Big Ed set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, which brings several separate photo-etched sets and painting masks together in one box. It is not a tank model but a comprehensive accessory for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the German Tiger II (King Tiger) heavy tank with the Henschel turret in 1:35 scale. The set typically covers details of the hull and the turret, the fenders and painting masks for the wheels.
The Tiger II, nicknamed King Tiger, was a German heavy tank of the late Second World War with massive armor and a long 88 mm gun. The version with the turret of Henschel design was built in the greatest numbers and is the most widespread variant.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The painting masks for the wheels come in useful when spraying the running gear. On a tank we recommend finishing the running gear and the interior before closing the hull, and leaving the weathering, that is the mud and dust effects, to washes and pigments at the very end.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
