Miniature wrenches in 1:35 scale meant for dioramas. It is neither a kit nor a model of a vehicle but a scenic detail, that is something that takes up a few millimeters on a finished scene yet gives away that somebody looked after it. The accessory belongs to the same line of small items as the buckles, belts, padlocks and tool sets that Miryoku makes for 1:35 scale.
Wrenches find a use anywhere a scene tells of work and maintenance: in a field workshop, in a garage, on a workbench next to a stripped engine, inside a building, in the hand of a figure or simply dropped on a tarpaulin beside a vehicle. Small objects like these are exactly what give a diorama its story. An empty area around a model looks sterile; two or three small items in the right place turn it into a real place.
Parts in this scale are very small, so work with tweezers and over a tray with a raised edge, or the first lost piece will disappear into the carpet. Use cyanoacrylate glue laid on with the head of a pin or a thin wire to attach them, because a drop from the tube is too large for a detail like this. For painting, a metal shade sprayed or brushed on thinly will do, after which a dark wash brings out the shape and a trace of brown pigment or rust gives the impression of used tools. New shiny metal looks unnatural on a diorama, and weathering matters more here than the exactness of the shade.
This is a diorama accessory, not a model and not a kit. The base, the figures, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
