The sheet in 1:35 scale is the sixth in the line devoted to Lebanese tanks and armored vehicles and it brings further generic unit insignia. It is therefore not a complete scheme for one machine, but a stock of markings that a modeler divides up according to what he is building at the time.
Because the insignia are not tied to a single type of vehicle, they come into their own on tanks and on lighter armor alike. That pays off especially on dioramas with several machines, where uniform markings hold a scene together, and also as an addition to earlier sheets of the same line. Which elements belong to which vehicle, and in what size, is given in the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
Tiny insignia call for a steady hand and tweezers. Cut the element out as close to the print as possible, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and, once it has released from the backing paper, move it onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface. Draw the excess water off with a soft cloth, help it onto edges and rivets with a decal softener, and once it has dried give the area a coat of varnish so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.
The sheet is for builders of ground hardware in 1:35 scale who want to give a model a definite allegiance, and for those who build up a stock of markings for their collection. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
