This is a supplementary set of metal tracks, not a model of the vehicle. It holds individual links cast in white metal, which are joined with wire pins into a fully workable track. It replaces the plastic tracks supplied in the base kit of the French tracked tractor Lorraine in 1:35 scale.
The Lorraine was a French armored tracked tractor and supply vehicle from the end of the 1930s. After 1940 captured Lorraine chassis became a favorite basis for German improvised self-propelled guns. This set of links matches the running gear of that vehicle and its derivatives.
Clean the casting remains off the links, lay them out one behind another and thread through the wire pins that form the joints. The track can be left workable, or tacked in place with super glue once fitted. The metal surface holds paint better once a primer for metal has been sprayed on, and the weight of the links creates a realistic sag over the running gear.
A supplementary set — it does not hold the model of the vehicle, glue or paints. Meant as an upgrade to a separately bought kit.
